gary + sherah = {love} … | Engagement Portraits | Sandi Bradshaw |

I love love. (Is that grammatically correct? Kinda looks weird…) But, I really do! I love love! All kinds of love really…I love to see babies gazing at their mommas, I love to see men when they first glimpse their bride walking down the aisle, I love to watch brand new parents adoring their newborns, and I also LOVE to see the sweet, sweet love of two people who are newly engaged. I love engagement photo sessions…because I love love.

And, what photographer wouldn’t have had a great time photographing these two? And…I’ve just gotta say…this girl has the most beautiful skin. Ever. It’s almost just wrong! Anyway…we did kind of a combination session because she wanted some urban portraits as well as some more traditional images…so we went to an area that I just adore and we trekked all over the place…and here is a little sampling of the fruit of our labor…

Don’t they just make you want to get engaged all over again?!?! You know…I really believe that every married couple should have professional pictures done every year or two…just the two of you…without the kids…to be reminded of how special your relationship is and to have images that celebrate the core relationship of your home. I really feel that’s so important. OK…stepping off my soapbox now. ;o)

G & S – you guys did awesome and I wish you the best of everything in the world as you start your life together!

‘Til Next Time!

I {do}… | Phoenix, AZ Wedding Photographer | Sandi Bradshaw |

Have you ever heard of kismet? It’s my favorite word. I love everything about it…how it sounds, the way it looks, what it means…

For several months I’ve had a lot of people email me to ask “Do you do weddings?”…and my answer has always been, “No, I’m so sorry, I don’t.” I had many valid reasons for not focusing on wedding photography, but many of those reasons have seemed to fade in the last few months. I have found myself more and more drawn to the blogs of wedding photographers who know how to tell the story of the most romantic day in a person’s life…and tell it well…with no words…and it’s absolutely captivating at times. So…after much thought over the past few months, and with sheer joy and excitement…I’m changing my answer! It’s now, “I Do!”

This does NOT mean that I will be doing any less portrait work…I love and adore working with newborns, children, seniors and families…and that won’t be changing. Not at all. :o )

But, this new direction…new journey…new means of capturing the most romantic day of your life…well, it’s an exciting time for me…and I would love to help YOU to treasure the day…treasure the moments…treasure the time of YOUR life!

Now, back to KISMET…

I’ve decided to kick off this grand-opening of sorts…with a sweet little offer…for one special couple. So, this offer is open to any couple who will be getting married prior to December 31st, 2009…and is currently looking for a wedding photographer.

I want to hear your kismet story…how you met, how you fell in love, why your love story is unique. Stories must be submitted by 11:59pm, February 7th, 2009.

Please email sandi@treasurethetime.com with KISMET as the subject line. Then…just share your story with me…as well as attach a current CREATIVE snapshot of the two of you. Submissions must be received by the deadline in order to qualify and they must contain a CREATIVE snapshot in .jpg format of the couple. Submissions must be written by either the bride or groom-to-be to qualify. Please include your wedding date, time, and ceremony/reception locations as well.

One couple will be chosen…and announced on February 14th. The winning couple will receive a complimentary engagement session, as well as a $250 print credit. Winners as well as couples submitting a story are under no obligation to book their wedding with Treasure the Time Photography…but, I’d be honored if ya did! ;o)

And…once again I can’t post without a picture…so here is one of an absolutely beautiful couple whose wedding I will have the pleasure of photographing in April.

‘Til Next Time!
Sandi
