One of the most gorgeous newborn babies I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. Oh the yumminess of this precious little baby boy just makes me want to nibble on his chunky little cheeks.

I kept repeating myself…”No really…he is like one of the MOST gorgeous babies I’ve ever seen!” He wasn’t extremely interested in having his picture taken in the first 45 minutes or so that I was there. I think he was just testing me…seeing if I was really as patient as I kept whispering to him that I was. But…eventually he gave in…(they always do!)…and the rest of the session was what newborn photography dreams are made of. His big brother and sister were equally as precious…and if they are any indication of how gorgeous this little one will be in the years to come…then we’re all in trouble! There shouldn’t be so many gorgeous genes in one family…it’s sort of unfair!

Thank you E family…for a lovely session…for sharing J with me for a couple of hours…for the ongoing envy over your bedroom decor…and for the piano concert from little miss S. You have a beautiful family…and it just got a little more beautiful with the addition of J.

Little Miss A was a breathe of fresh, sweet smelling, baby air…she was such a peaceful little thing and so easy to work with. I could have stayed all day and just stared at her…I’m so lucky to be able to get regular baby fixes. My own baby turned 4 this last week…and it’s so hard for me to believe that he was ever this small…and yet it’s equally hard to believe that he’s so big now! It really does go by so fast. My oldest will be driving this year…and that perspective of having older kids and younger kids is shocking sometimes.

Thank you R family for inviting me to capture this precious time in your lives. Treasure this time with little A! Breathe in every last drop of her newborn sweetness. It may be fleeting, but these moments will still be there in your heart years from now when you look back on these first precious days. Congratulations!

Every once in a while I will be invited into some of the most intimate moments of my client’s lives…and the birth of a newborn baby is one of my favorite intimate moments to capture. I was thrilled when I was asked by one of my favorite clients if I would photograph the birth of their third baby. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful family several times now and it’s always a joy to be around them and their sweet children. {A & E} – thank you for inviting me to be a part of such a treasured time for you and your family…it was my sincere pleasure to capture those first precious moments of {C}’s life…

It’s been a couple of weeks…but, I have not forgotten my promise to blog a few more of this precious little newborn girl. OH.MY.GOODNESS…so hard to narrow these down for the blog! I just loved everything about this baby girl…have I mentioned how much I love photographing newborns?!?! She was so good for me…super peaceful, slept like an angel, and I think she only cried once while I was there…just a little dream! So here you are…the über gorgeous Miss Z…and her stunning parents.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this sweet little missy three times in the past year. The first time she was here visiting from CA when she was 6 months old and her mom felt like it was important to find a photographer that could get to know her daughter and work with her for years. I was so happy that she chose me…but even more so I was so happy to have another client that saw the benefit of having a long term relationship with their photographer…because I feel like that’s one of the most important parts of my business. I consider my clients to be friends…and I wouldn’t have it any other way! It’s been so much fun to get to watch little miss E grow over the past year or so. Her hair has grown so much over the past 6 months…sooo cute! And…my goodness…is she ever full of personality these days!

I also wanted to update my availability for the rest of the summer. I am scheduling newborn and indoor sessions in the Phoenix area for July and August. I am also accepting a limited amount of northern AZ sessions for July and August.
