Soul… | Phoenix Newborn Photographer | Sandi Bradshaw |
One look and I was totally and completely smitten with this little guy. He has the most soulful eyes…I could have sat and stared at him all afternoon. A girl could easily get lost in those eyes! He also belongs to one of my favorite families…which makes me adore him all the more. And those cheeks…those are some serious smoochin’ cheeks!

For Alex… | Sandi Bradshaw | Photographer |
This whole session is a total surprise for mom since she had to go out of town the day before it was scheduled. But, we did the session anyway and I’m so glad to be able to truly surprise her with these images! How fun…it’s not very often that mom or dad are not around for the session…I felt like we were on a mission to conquer the alleys with adorableness. Some lady hollered down at us at one point that she would hang these pictures in her own house! I can’t blame her…I might have to snatch a couple for my office display.
My 9 year old walked in while I was editing these and said…that girl looks familiar! I’ve gotten to photograph these kids several times in the past couple of years and I have to say that it’s one of my favorite things to watch all of these kids grow up right before my camera! What a joy your kiddos are A…

Yo Yo Peace Out… | Sandi Bradshaw | Newborn Photographer |
I literally laughed out loud when I opened this file. So…I thought I’d spread the love. How can you not giggle?
More to come of these little cuties…and their brand new cousin.

Christmas in Arizona… | Sandi Bradshaw | Photographer |
I have to admit that I get a little jealous this time of year…of all the people who live where it gets cold and snowy at Christmas time. I have this idealized version of Christmas in my head…and it always includes snowflakes, snowmen, snowboots, you get the picture. Our Christmases in Arizona are so far from my picturesque Christmas…but, just the other day my hubby and I were chatting about why we have that perspective. We’ve been in AZ forever…me since I was 4…and I don’t think that I’ve ever had Christmas anywhere but Arizona since then…so why wouldn’t my ideal Christmas look just like it does here?…complete with flip-flops, shorts, and iced tea? Who needs snow when you’ve got this beautiful golden sun? (I’m desperately trying to convince myself here…and it’s not working.) But, I shouldn’t complain too much because I do have the ability to shoot outdoors in December here in this golden state…and for that I’m grateful!
Last week I got to go spend some time at the S Family’s home photographing their adorable children. These kids were so full of life and joy! I have a weakness for redheads…and not only does little Miss T have gorgeous red curls, but she’s got the most beautiful blue eyes to go with them. And Sir C…well he was as charming as he is cute! It was so fun to see them play together. The first thing I asked C when we went outside to get started was if he and T were best friends…and his answer, “OH YEAH!” You gotta love that!!

Will she ever blog again?
I promise that I have not taken up residence under a rock buried deep below the sea. I will blog again…soon! My October and November have been so filled with sessions that blogging has taken a back seat…actually it’s sitting in the caboose. But…I wanted to pop in with a workshop update.
The February 2010 Focus Workshop is sold out…and then some. I let 1 extra person sneak in…’cuz that’s just the way I roll. Anyway…I have a rather long waiting list of people who could not attend the February workshop due to schedule conflicts, but have been waiting patiently to find out if I will be doing any other workshops later in the spring…and I am strongly considering doing a 2nd one in March or April. So…if you would like to be added to the pre-registration list for a March/April workshop…please email me to be included. The people on the pre-registration list will be notified of the dates and the registration opening before it will be publicized.
And…because I think it’s just a crime to post without a picture…here is just one (of one daughter) from a session I did a couple weeks ago. G family – your gallery is darn near ready!
