I’m not special (well…okay…we’re ALL special)…the email went out to all of their members (at least I’m assuming it went out to all of us). Anyway…the email gave me super special privileged permission (they must really love me over there) to give away TWO 3 month trial subscriptions to Professional Photographer Magazine (valued at a bajillion dollars! No…really!)…and it’s my faaaaaaaaavorite magazine! So…I’m super excited to give away these two little freebies. on this little face…

I can’t believe that four months have already passed since I did this precious little boy’s newborn session. I knew the first time I saw him that he was just a really beautiful baby…but, my goodness has he become handsome…and so so smiley! I love it when babies are full of grins and giggles…you can just tell that their every moment is just filled to the brim with love. His mom and dad are madly in love with him and it shows in his adorable, happy face. And…I can’t help but take a minute to gush a little about his fabulous mom…none other than the amazing Edina Kiss of Edina Kiss Jewelry. If you are looking for a little something gorgeous to hint for this Christmas then you must check out her custom designed jewelry. It’s just beautiful! Edina made me a beautiful necklace and bracelet with my children’s names on them…I blogged about them HERE…and just yesterday I was wearing the necklace and a lady at Starbuck’s turned around and immediately reached for my necklace to tell me how much she loved it.

I am so excited to be offering another workshop in 2010! The last couple of workshops that I’ve taught have been so much fun and have been filled with some of the most amazing women who have been so eager to grow their businesses! I’m looking so forward to meeting the ladies at the February workshop…and you’ll have the added bonus of our beautiful February weather…unlike those poor unlucky souls who dared to brave the August heat for the last one! That was some hard core dedication! (YAY August Girls! You rocked it!)

For those of you who have followed my blog for over a year…you might remember around this time last year when I came down with Valley Fever and Pneumonia. That was sure a couple weeks full of fun! Well…here I am…almost exactly a year later and I’ve got symptoms that strongly resemble what I had back then. I’m hoping that things take a turn for the healthy in the next day or so…a couple of my kiddos have been sick over fall break this week as well…so I’m hoping that it’s just whatever funky junk they had…but, this is sure familiar. So…I’m taking a little time out tomorrow to tend to myself and my littlest…who’s also had a fever for a couple days…we’ll be hanging out on the couch tomorrow for sure. I’ll be responding to emails and taking care of business related stuff while he’s napping…as long as I’m not passed out under a mountain of blankets!

In the meantime…here is a tiny little preview for one of my favorite families. We headed to Sedona last weekend for their family session and it was so beautiful there…I love the red rocks…the weather was perfect (despite a bit of wind)…and I so love hanging out with this family…you just can’t fathom how hysterical this little man is! (I’ve got one of the funniest – okay more like 4 of the funniest – images I’ll have to post of him later…he’s just pure comedic relief). He wants to be a baseball player, like his daddy, but I really think he could make a bajillion bucks in comedy.

I wish we had seasons here in the furnace… ::sigh::.

Oh…and a SCHEDULE UPDATE:

Little Miss A was a breathe of fresh, sweet smelling, baby air…she was such a peaceful little thing and so easy to work with. I could have stayed all day and just stared at her…I’m so lucky to be able to get regular baby fixes. My own baby turned 4 this last week…and it’s so hard for me to believe that he was ever this small…and yet it’s equally hard to believe that he’s so big now! It really does go by so fast. My oldest will be driving this year…and that perspective of having older kids and younger kids is shocking sometimes.

Thank you R family for inviting me to capture this precious time in your lives. Treasure this time with little A! Breathe in every last drop of her newborn sweetness. It may be fleeting, but these moments will still be there in your heart years from now when you look back on these first precious days. Congratulations!

Is that not the cutest, craziest hat you ever did see?!?! I love funky baby hats!
