Edina Kiss Jewelry… | Phoenix Photographer | Sandi Bradshaw
One of my favorite things about my business is the opportunity to get to know my clients personally…and to have the opportunity to see what they do for a living as well. Edina has become one of my favorite clients…not just because she has a ridiculously adorable newborn baby boy that I loved photographing, but because she is just a very sweet, kind, and all around awesome person…and never mind the fact that she happens to custom design and create GORGEOUS, unique jewelry. And…I’m not the only one who thinks so…apparently so does Eva Longoria.
Edina was so sweet to make this gorgeous necklace and bracelet for me…and she couldn’t have known how much I love personalized things beforehand, but…it literally makes me feel connected to my kids in a special way to wear their names around my neck. Please check out her beautiful work…at EdinaKiss.com! And…be sure to check out the About Edina page…I just think she’s fabulous!

Would it be strange?
To hang a picture of other people’s children in my house?!?! LOL! I so love this image that I honestly could just blow it up big and display it in my house…hmmm….maybe my office…I need some new samples anyway, right? Ha!
Here are a couple more of these amazing little men…
These are just a couple more from the workshop…I’m slowly getting some editing done on the workshop images…so I’ll post some more as I get them done.
It’s been so crazy busy around here since my kiddos have started school. I truly had NO idea just how crazy schedules were when kids were in school. I think we must have been spoiled with homeschooling for so many years. I have had countless…and I mean countless…people ask me over the past few years, “How do you run a busy business and homeschool at the same time?” I really never felt like it was too difficult to manage it all…my boys are super, super helpful…and it’s always been our way of life, so it all just kinda gelled. But, now…WOW! School adds a whole different level of busy-ness that I have never known. We are here…we are there…we are here again…and there again…and everywhere under the sun…it’s crazy how much less time I have right now. I’m sure it’s all just a matter of getting used to the new schedule, but man there is a LOT of activity going on…and I’m tired…but, so loving it…and so are they…so it’s all good.
‘Til Next Time…(which won’t be so long this time – promise!)

…are coming your way! After a whirlwind weekend of teaching the August FOCUS Photography Workshop I have been catching up on client sessions, editing, and orders and am just now having the sparest of moments to give a quick, “HI!” to blogdom. I will be posting some highlights from the workshop this week…and I am certain we must have had the most beautiful children in all of the Phoenix area modeling for us. Here is just one for tonight…but there are many more to come…
It was a joy to be with the 12 photographers that came to this city-sized-furnace from all over the US…but, I’m thinking that I won’t be doing any more August workshops in Phoenix. There is a reason that I take August off…and they all got to experience that reason first hand…as well as witness how ridiculously red my face turns when I am hot. Is it just me…or can the AZ sun literally melt a person?!?! I do believe that I just might pioneer a new group of retirees…The Sunbirds.
‘Til Next Time!

I’m ridiculously cute… | Phoenix Child Photographer | Sandi Bradshaw |
Wouldn’t you agree?
Oh how I love baby chub! Seriously can’t get enough of it! This little girl belongs to one of my favorite clients who I’ve had the pleasure of working with twice this year. I’ll post some more images from her session soon…but, for now…
I just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello before the FOCUS Workshop this weekend. The past two weeks have been a literal whirlwind of activity between several shoots, an (almost) birth photo session that turned into an immediately-after-birth photo session for one of my favorite clients, and preparing for the workshop…this has been a crazy, crazy, busy couple of weeks. I am so excited about teaching the workshop this weekend…there is a full house of some really amazing photographers coming from all over the country to learn a thing or two about how I do things. I’m humbled AND excited to meet with (and shoot with) all of these wonderful photographers. We have some of THE MOST FABULOUS kids lined up to model for the workshop…and the vendor sponsor generosity has been incredible! Truly! I have one of the most insanely amazing prizes to give away at the workshop…I can’t wait to unveil that fun little surprise!
For those of you who I will see Friday…photographers and models…I’m so looking forward to meeting you all! And for the rest of you…I’ll be posting some post-workshop photos soon.

Quick Post…Model Time! … | Phoenix Child Photographer | Sandi Bradshaw |
I have been meaning to get this post out for a few days now…but, I feel as if I have not known the meaning of busy until this week. All the past weeks…all the past months…all the busyness of yesteryear – nothing. compares. to. THIS. week. Tomorrow my boys start school and any time that I thought I might possibly be gaining in my schedule was all an allusion…tomorrow marks the first day of a kind of busy that has been foreign to me until now…school busy. And…I miss my boys already. Goodness…I might come home and cry crocodile tears tomorrow…I really don’t think that I’m ready for this. I really don’t. I wish I could just make it stop for ONE more week…I might need a valium.
OK…so on to the REAL purpose of this post…(rather than my endless blubbering about my babies leaving every day!)…I have a couple of model spots to fill for next week’s FOCUS Workshop! The modeling/shooting segment of the workshop will take place between 5pm and 7:30 on Friday, August 14th. You and your child would need to arrive at the workshop between 4:30 and 4:45. For your child’s participation in the workshop you will receive between 7-10 professionally edited digital files (both high resolution and low resolution, watermarked images). More details about what to wear, where to meet, and what to expect while shooting will be emailed to those who are chosen to participate. I am looking for as diverse of a group of kids as possible…so please do not feel slighted if your child is not chosen…I’ve had several age categories that have had an overwhelming response and in those cases I am simply choosing those who were the first to respond. I am looking for kids who are fun and outgoing and are comfortable in front of the camera. Your child will be photographed by several photographers throughout the shooting segment of the workshop…including myself. If you are interested in having your child participate and your child falls within one of the categories below…please EMAIL ME with “Modeling” as the subject and please include a recent snapshot.
Boy age 3-5
Girl age 5-9
Boy age 8-10
Boy age 17-18
If you’d like to participate…I’d love to hear from you! Siblings are welcome to participate together. We will be shooting in an urban environment and the guidelines on what to wear will reflect that. Any questions…please email me!
And…since I really don’t like to post without an image…here are three. cute. munchkins. I’ll post a few more of them real soon!
‘Til Next Time!
