Another Quick Note: Okay…starting tomorrow I will have 2 1/2 days off from sessions that will hopefully allow me to finally get totally caught up with proofing…and galleries…and a blog contest…and laundry! ;o) If you’re waiting for a gallery or a sneak peek…I can only gush with thankfulness for your patience…bear with me…:o)

Now…on to more exciting things! This is one of my favorite families…I feel very blessed to have gotten to do their family pictures this year…as well as their twin daughter’s senior portraits. The girls have such sweet spirits and it’s just a joy to be around them…(and of course there is also the fact that they have eyes that make a photographer want to do the happy dance!!!) This is one of those families that makes you want to gleen wisdom and take really good notes! Well done Steve and Marian…you have an AWESOME family!

OK…choosing the photos for the L Family’s sneak peek was soooo hard! Seriously, this family was just so incredibly sweet to be around. Mom and Dad are just in total love with their boys! It was just precious to watch them all play and have so much fun together…and it made for some amazing shots! This sweet family is new to our church so I’m so glad that our family will have an opportunity to get to know theirs.

You know how life just moves along…like it does…and then something will happen that makes you realize just how much time has passed…since you had your firstborn, since you saw a friend, or since you were a newlywed…? Well when my phone rang a couple weeks ago…that’s exactly what happened. Beth and I recounted how long it had been since we had last seen each other…and how young our first born sons were at the time…just babies! It was one of those moments when you realize that 12 or 13 years goes by like nothing…

This was a fun session for me! This little girlie is so full of spunk…the hair…the eyes…the smile…just a ton of FUN! It was also so sweet for me because her Momma knew my brother in school so I got to reminisce a little with her. Thanks for the giggles Bella…and also for the pretty flowers! ) …Did you get your kite???

I realized about an hour into looking through the Lauer’s pictures that my cheeks actually hurt because I was smiling right along with them! These are my dear friends who moved far, far away to another galaxy a few years ago and I’ve seen them so infrequently since then that just today did I get to meet their sweet daughter for the first time! Oh my goodness how I miss ya’ll! These are my smoothie-drinkin’-game-playin’-till-the-rooster-crows friends! I had so much fun with your kiddos tonight guys! Thanks for hoofin’ it all the way down here…it was worth it. ;o) Oh…and please tell Josh that I got him!…real good too!
